It is very difficult to think straight during emergencies, I totally agree! It can be so scary. You did the right thing in taking him in right away.
Did the event happen after he ate food/dinner? Did they do other blood work? If not, it would be nice to get a full chem panel to assess what the rest of his levels are up to. I hope you get answers soon for little Wolfie!
