Oh, I know just how difficult it is. I had to let my little Muffin go early spring and I'm still not over that. One of my chihuahuas lived to be 17 and passed away in the early dawn hours one morning while I was by her side. The chihuahua was easier, in a way, because she passed on her own. I had to make the decision with another chihuahua and with my little yorkie, Muffin. It's not easy. I was holding Muffin in my arms as she slipped away. It's one of the hardest things I think we have to do, but it isn't fair to leave them in a shell of themselves and to see them not understand what is wrong with them. Bless you and your little one.
