I feel your pain on this subject!! My last litter of pups LOVED my flip flops. It only took a minute of leaving them in reach and they would chew right through that little piece that goes between your toes. Bam -- ruined! They got my very favorite pair that I felt were basically irreplaceable as they were so comfortable and no longer sold. I pouted all day on that one!
I got a toy flip flop from my GE buddy and although they all loved it, it still did not deter them from ruining a few more real ones.
I am waiting for my newest puppy Annie to discover a love for flip flops! Hoping she won't get the craving.
Maybe we should all get together with our good one-of-a-kind flip flops and see if we can make any pairs!
