Sometimes the styptic products sting alot, just a heads up... and flour works too in a pinch. Never use Hydrogen peroxide on an open wound...it will eat away good tissue. Liquid soap (not antibacterial) and water is best, and if not requiring stitches, and antibiotic ointment can be applied.
