I tried moving the pad slowly, and ziva continued to pee in the same spot anyway, that's when I super cleaned the spots and blocked them off.
The only way for us was cold turkey and keeping a really close eye on her, she had already gained free run of the main house(with a peepad at each end)- she was also very sensitive to "no" so I had to be firm but not harsh- it was rough going for a month or so and I actually thought she was never going to get it (my husband was verryy unhappy and not at all helpful .)
