The bloodwork results were already back when we got there this morning. Everything's good on that - no Addison's. All potassium, sodium, liver enzymes, etc. were well within the normal ranges. Her hydration is good. Dr. Haynes ran another ECG this morning and said her heartrate is up closer to normal but not really where he wants it to be. Also, it's now skipping several beats and he's concerned about that.

He wants to run another ECG in a few days and then we'll probably be referred to a Cardiologist. I'm assuming that the cardiologist will do the ultrasound and whatever additional testing Chelsea needs, if she even needs it. Dr. Haynes wasn't as forthcoming this morning about what might be going on now that Addison's has been ruled out. He said let's just wait and see what the next few days brings.

Chelsea is acting better this morning so I'm trying to stay positive. I just don't know what to think. Yesterday I googled so many possibilities that I scared myself stupid - and I still don't know what's wrong with her.

Thank you all for all the prayers! Please continue to pray for my little girl. I know that modern medicine can work miracles, but she's so young still. She really has me worried. I just want her to be well.

Hugs,
Bonny
Oh dear Bonny I'm just now reading this. What a huge scare, and until a ddx is in such a worry.

I'd try to keep her quiet. Maybe crate rest? I few walks with Momma outside, if the weather there is as good here. I think a cardiologist is a great idea. Just a thought; why not get the referral now from your general vet? Let the expert due another ECG if he is so inclined. I guess for me, I would be so scared, that even if in three days time the ecg is normal, I'd still want to see a specialist. I'm sure with all the research you've done, you don't want to speculate on what it could be.

Skipping beats can be indicative of a few conditions.

Sending lots of ((((((((Hugs)))))))) your way. You and Chelsea will be in my thoughts and prayers today.
