So nice to hear someone else say that. My DH said the same thing when we got our Papillon. He said they were yappy frou-frou dogs. Our little girl stole his heart and is definitely HIS dog. When he sits and watches tv, she curls up on his chest and nuzzles her head under his chin or lays it on his shoulder.
When I decided to get my Yorkie he said the same thing again. However I see him work hard to make sure that they like him and do not feel intiminated by him. He is almost 6 foot and 325lbs so he seems HUGE to them. They are only 5 lbs.
