Don't beat yourself up over this. These little guys are fast and can get underfoot quickly. It's not as if you intentionally stepped on her- that's why it's called an accident. When it happened, you recognized the problem and acted quickly to remedy it in; that makes you a good mother, IMO.
I second ADB's post. I know it's going to be hard to try and keep Bailey quiet and calm for the next week, but it really will speed up his healing process. We went through something similar last week with Scarlett, and although it was difficult, keeping her quiet really did help her heal quickly. Just look at this as an opportunity to get in lots of cuddle time.
And lastly, you need to forgive yourself. I guarantee you that Bailey isn't looking at you and thinking that you hurt him. He only knows that you love him.
