I homecook for Lady now because of all her health issues so I'm no help!
Lady has been diabetic for almost eight years (she's almost 15) so I have always been limited on what I could feed her. It was probably easier that way.
I fed her Nature's Variety Prairie for several years, up until she developed liver damage from years of seizure medication and couldn't eat red meat anymore. I was very happy with that food.
There are so many choices today. It's overwhelming.
