If you don't already, you could raise money through crafts and sell tickets to dinners. If you have any pet supply stores, perhaps you could go a couple of days a month and have a few pups and ask for donations of food and money. Petsmart has pets from shelters like this. You could also ask your radio and tv stations to place announcements that donations are badly needed to keep the shelter open. When in need, beg!  |
They have regular Tag days and fund raisers. The problem is so many people losing jobs and turning in their pets. Fewer people adopting. That's great that their is funding for the new shelter.
