One more thing to get Get a tube of Pedisure. It's for low blood sugar. Puppies blood sugar levels can go down and up in just a few moments. Watch his gums, they should always be nice and pink. If they are white and he is acting like he has no energy his blood sugar level might be low. Just rub a little pedicare on his gums and watch him close. If he doesn't come around in a few minutes you'll need to take him to a vet.
Hypoglycemia: Can occur is small breeds. Symptoms are white
gums, Lethargic & cant balance, Seizures and Rolled up eyes.
They can get this very quickly, be fine one minute and cant stand
the next. These T-Cup and tiny breeds are very fragile and must be
treated as such. They must eat 3-5 times a day everyday. They
stop eating mainly due to stress.
The first thing you should do after getting him is to take him to a vet and have him checked over really good to make sure he's in good health and start his shots.
Good luck.
