I finally tried Ruggles and Smarty on some raw food. The website at Nature's variety gives the proportion to mix with kibble for each dog's weight. Anyway, Ruggles did not like it at all, he acted like he was revulsed by it (but he finally ate it). Smarty liked it. THey have had it twice now. My question is, whether the nutritional advantages of feeding raw are worth making Ruggles learn to eat the stuff. Is it common for a dog to not like raw food at first?
