My only concern with the puppy formula is if it will stress his heart or organs somehow because I'm giving puppy food to our adult dog. Is that true? I could just switch to adult formula but he's sooooo picky that he even sometimes spits out the larger sized puppy kibbles. So I am hesitant about getting the adult one if the kibble size is much bigger if it's not totally necessary.
If he is at a good weight now... then I would switch him over to adult food to maintain that weight and still keep feeding him the chewy's too...
