I can only go by what I have seen and these people run a clean place where the puppies are running freely through the runs and are extremely happy and affectionate. They knew each and every puppy by name before we looked at their name tags. So please don't ask me how I can sleep at night. How can you sleep at night being so judgmental of someone you don't know just because some Amish are puppy breeders....shame on you!!! I don't judge people by their race or religion! I am person who loves people and animals. I don't feel guilty at all when my beautiful, happy and healthy puppy is curled up in my lap or romping with my 3 granddaughters or kissing the face of my one year old grandson! I am HAPPY AND PROUD!!!! Can't wait to meet my granddaughter's Westie, actually going along to get him! I WILL CONTINUE to recommend this place to everyone! And guess what, it is a FREE COUNTRY!!! |
Do you honestly believe for one minute these people would let you see the nasty conditions that these dogs came from? Of course not, you wouldn't buy the puppy then. I've seen the conditions first hand.....where the pups are actually born, not where the broker allows you to see them for purchasing.
Before casting shame on my judgments perhaps you should do the responsible thing and research
exactly where their puppies are born. I don't judge people by their race or religion, that convenient accusation holds no merit here. It is very well known by those in rescue, promoters of puppymill legislation, and most AR groups, just how the Amish or Mennonites treat their animals, I didn't make it up. Take ten minutes away from playing with your adorable little dog and google Amish puppymills, look at the pictures, read the horrifying stories, you don't have to take my word for it....look it up yourself.
And finally...you're right.... "it is a FREE COUNTRY"....AND...along with freedom comes responsibility....personal responsibility for educating yourself further when you've been made aware.
By your continuing glowing recommendation to others, you've just condemned more breeding dogs to a life of hell...so, go ahead and be "happy and proud", while others of us continue to fight for
their freedom!!!
