It's a 20-acre plot with a small wooded area and pond. It will also have a limited amount of large-animal rescues.
There will also be a dog park, a pet cemetery, and a walking trail.
Construction will begin next spring.
I'm so happy that there will be a safe place to take lost and abandoned pets finally. It has been in the works for a long time. The land acquisition has been the cause for the delay for some years!
The architectural layout will allow for additions, too.
Anyway, I'm ecstatic!
No longer will I look at those poor sad eyes and feel so hopeless.
