Don't write them off yet- give them at least one try if that was your original plan. I would just make sure you stand and watch in a place where they KNOW you're watching them

I couldn't get a good picture of Lacie- she was not interested in posing for the camera. We decided she must have thought she looked absolutely dreadful.
