So is potential weight gain the only issue or is there any stress on his heart or other organs with the higher fat content? I ask because I think kona's finally a decent weight. He was so skinny but now that we've been feeding him origin puppy in the morning and Stella and chewys at night, he's filled out to I think a good size.
My only concern with the puppy formula is if it will stress his heart or organs somehow because I'm giving puppy food to our adult dog. Is that true? I could just switch to adult formula but he's sooooo picky that he even sometimes spits out the larger sized puppy kibbles. So I am hesitant about getting the adult one if the kibble size is much bigger if it's not totally necessary. |
