Because so many people have big hearts like you and give them those hard-earned dollars that they turn around and use to order 2 more mill puppies that will probably sit sick in cages.
I don't think it matters what sort of controversy may or may not be going on about a pet store. If they sell dogs and cats, I stay away. There are at least 2 pet stores in my area that sell dogs and cats. I know they have quite a selection of supplies, clothing, and premium dog food. But I will shop online before I go in their stores. Better to just stay away. Check out a shop before you go.
