These ads are just crazy. Can't believe a former Yorkie shower is trying to trade off a Champion bloodline Yorkie, in standard, 3 pounds for a laptop. They also would not advertise as Teacup. It does say he was raised by a show person though so maybe this person got him from a show breeder, as retired or something. Can you imagine how angry that would make you as a breeder? If they have an adequate contract when they sold him to this person, maybe they could just go get him back.
It is not that I don't believe in bartering, but for your pets? Just screams of treating them as accessories instead of family members. Sets the wrong attitude you want to get across when finding a forever pet home. You also want some indication the person is financially solvent enough to provide adequate care.
