I was thinking that it will come in handy at parties and outtings to the park, hotel visits, or anytime that I need her "contained"

I am going to crate train her, but there are plenty of times that I will want her "contained" but not in her crate.

If she really is smaller do you think the 18 inch would work? It looks real nice and is very easy for us to step over, but will it also be easy for her to jump? I am leaning towards the 24, but hubby is all about the 18.... I am surely going to make him read this thread. : )
