I feel your anger....dh and I have had the very same conversation about those stupid foam earplugs. I've found them several times in the bed, on the floor, just laying around. The final straw was when I found one in Louis' poo.....dh did not like fresh poo presented within inches of his eyes, so that he might witness these dogs do indeed swallow the dang earplugs!! You would think that was enough...but...NO 
A few days later....again...in Louis' poo. I solved the problem this time though! Every pair of earplugs dh owned (he had only 4 sets left) I collected and threw in the garbage. After being unable to sleep that night bc "I couldn't find my earplugs anywhere", I told him why 
He replaced the earplugs with the type that has the cording between them -- they are easier to keep track of now. So far, I haven't found any earplugs where they shouldn't be.  |
I'm bad I told him if he needed ear plugs tonight I save them for him.
He'll learn to do without them. He's fawning all over Charm because he feels guilty which he should.
