Default Holistic Select... or Acana... I am confused with dog food..

Ok Taycie has been on Blue Buffalo primarly since I got her. She is now 7 months old. I have tried Nature's Variety Prairie and she loved it but she had some seriously loose stools she liked it but her tummy didn't. We also have tried The Honest Kitchen and the same thing happened but her stools were not only loose but smelly and HUGE.

Now that Blue Buffalo has issued a recall I want to find a new food all together. I kept going back to it because it seemed to work with her for the best. But I am cautious to keep continuing with it..

I went to the local pet food store and I ended up with a bag of Holistic Select. The lady opened a sample for Taycie and she went CRAZY for it.
It was the cutest thing and she licked her bowl clean tonight.. leaving most of the BB behind..

I must admit I am SCARED TO DEATH of high protein... always have been. But I am curious... I want her to have the best of the best.

The back of the HS food says her protein is no less the 30
and crude fat is no less the 20

is that a high fat content??? Seems high to me...

The reason I left acana behind it had 33 percent protein but now I am realizing the fat content was only 18 percent... slightly less..

What would you do??? I want the best for her and I need your help! I have also read that not every dog does good on high protein and some dogs start to urinate more and start drinking more which means they could not be handling the high protein.. should I watch for that as well?

Does anyone have reading material on dog nutrition they recommend?? To help ease my mind??
