Default lipase level issue, need info

Hey folks, haven't been on in a while with life being so busy lately, but need some opinions on my little girl.

A few months ago I had her to the vet because she just didn't seem right. I agreed to a full blood work up and got a call later that day the her Lipase level was over 900. I don't know much about this, but my vet was concerned.

We hadn't been real good about not giving her little pieces of food here and there and she had 3-4 different treats we would give her.

Anyway, the Vets plan was to give her nothing but EN food. SO she has had nothing but EN dry and some EN canned as a treat a couple times a day. Every once in a while if someone drops something she makes a clean get away with it, but that is rae so this food is basically all she has.

Today, about 3 months later I take her in for a follow-up. She seems as healthy as she ever has and plays like there is no tomorrow. I think all is well. They draw blood and call me back in a bit and tell me her Lipase is now over 3,000 WHAT!! I am so sick inside. SHe seems perfect. I don't now what to do. I am worried about her. They are going to schedule an ultra sound, but wanted to see what someotehrs though. How could it go that high when we took all the other foods away?

Thanks for listening
