| Kennel Cough We had the same thing happen to us last January when we bought little Candi from a Texas breeder and had her flown into NY. Vet missed the kennel cough on the first days exam but after worrying all night with her coughing we went to another vet first thing in the AM. Kennel cough..Vet said it could have been from the stress of flying but when I called the breeder he had had another case. Sigh......Took almost 3 months and 3 or 4 courses of anitibiotics and finally fine. The most important thing, as everyone else here has been saying, is to be sure she stays hydrated. We also gave her Nutrical daily. Very important thing to do. This baby only weighed barely a pound and is now full grown and barely 2 pounds so it was a very frightening experience for us Be sure and watch this little baby very carefully and if you take good care of her she will be fine.
