I think that anyone else would not put up with her demanding behavior.
She and I have a special way of communicating and I pretty much know what she is asking for at any given moment. No one else can do that. She would have a hard time of it, I think, if she could not be understood. |
I also worry about what would Gracie do if something happened to me...she is sooo bonded to me. Our breeder lost her husband suddenly and unexpectedly and the two (young) Yorkies that were so bonded with him just moped around died within a couple weeks of him dying. i'm sure that's extreme, but she really believes they just died of a broken heart as after he died they immediately changed. Sad. If I remember correctly, they were only like 2 and 3 years of age and very healthy up to that point. She said the vet said the first one had a heart attack, the second one died apparently a couple days later. Seems odd that two young, healthy Yorkies would die suddenly so I'm guessing it must be true. All I know is, now I worry a lot about the "what if's" for Gracie.
