I've fostered before as well, and don't forget often times these dogs are owner surrenders. not bc of behavioral problem, but bc they simply can't afford to keep them. I feel that taking in neglected or abused dogs are really really grateful for you to take good care of them, something many of them have never experienced before in their lives.

I almost was going to foster again, but the timing is not right for us right now. Hoepfully I will be able to again when we are in a better situation. It's really a rewarding experience.
