Brooklyn got spayed today. Everything went well. Surprisingly she is wide awake but afraid to move much. I think she's just way too nosey to sleep the day away.
I gave her a pain pill as instructed when we got home and I'll start her antibiotics tomorrow. She's so pitiful, I just love her to pieces.
She's not interested in eating or drinking right now but I gave her some cheese with her pain pill and she gobbled it right up. Her incision is tiny and she hasn't so much as looked at it since she's been home.
I'm praying that all goes well as far as her recovery goes.
