UPDATE...
Bailey saw the ER Vet yesterday. She was given fluids under her skin, instructions for a bland diet which includes baby food and rice. We are to feed this for 5 days, and get her into a regular Vet. We were told she may have an underlying intestinal issue or possible pacreatitus. The Vet also said it could be do to her allergies and the generic formula bendaryl we administered, although they are suppose to be the same. She said it could be the bubble gum flavoring or something simple like that that caused the stress. We know she has an intestinal issue becuase of the mucus like substance she was passing. Her grandparents arrived yesterday, which made her perk up quite a bit, and we got her some chicken and gravy baby food which she just loved. Today she has eaten rice/baby food mixture, but has not yet drank any water (Keepin an eye out for that), but the Vet said she could be fine from the fluids they gave her, so not to worry too much until tomorrow. Her ears are perky, and last night she was playing with her stuffed animal, nawing on her raw-hide, and chasing her granddad... Today, she is a little depressed and the grandparents were only here until this morning, but she has eaten since they left, and is and has been napping as the weather is a bit on the chilly side. Soft stool, but not diarrhea, no vomitting, or seclusion...

Now for the question of the day...
We have been considering insurance to help with the Vet bills since I am displaced from work. I have looked into several different companies. Can anyone help me in deciding what is best? I have looked at the "Carecard" credit card, VPI, ASPCA, and a few others... I could really use some input from those who have it...
Thank you!!
