I would agree with what others are saying here.

1. Go by your dog's measurements, not the weight. One 6lb dog may have a completely different build than another 6lb dog.

2. Don't always assume your dog will be an XS or S. One brand may only make small dog clothes and your dog may actually be a medium or large, where as another brand may make it for all sized dogs and your dog may be a small or x-small.

I highly suggest memorizing your baby's measurements and going from there.
