I know just what you are feeling. Belle is a Morkie more on the maltese side. I had a cute picture of a hair cut that I wanted. It was very clear and I added what I wanted as far as her ears and tail. I was letting hwe ears grow out so I just wanted them trimmed. She has the plume tail of the maltese and I didn't want anything done. OMG, when I picked her up I was in shock! Her ears were as short as they could go, her tail was shaved to a little nub and her back leg was bleeding where she cut her with the trimmer. When I left, she knew just what I thought of her work. Belle hasn't been back to a groomer since, she even fusses when I try and trim her. I have considered taking a grooming class so I can do it myself. Is it expensive and am I too old at 58 to do this?
