So my poor baby has been licking his Right paw for about 6 months, some weeks its almost not at all and some he's licked it so much the paw is red and swollen. I took x-rays, nothing, got him acupunture, and he has seen the veterinary chiropractor several times. My doctor thinks it's because he currently lives w/ a big dog (my family has lab mix) who sometimes in his over excitement runs him over. He is only 3 and it's hard for me to believe just that one arm or shoulder keeps getting hurt. I also put him on allergy medicine with no effect. He often wakes me up in the middle of the night licking so I don't think it's a nervous thing. He just started adequan but I dunno how I feel about the non-results so far (he also takes tramadol every day). I hate to think he does this because despite my best efforts he is in pain.
Just wondering if this is maybe a yorkie thing that happens that I dont know about? Or maybe any other yorkie owners know what else I can do?
