First, if he's gone consistently on his piddle pads for a while, don't rule out illness without a vet checkup. Don't wait till he starts peeing blood to suspect a UTI, or a bladder infection. Kaji, my little boy, started out the same way. Peeing where he shouldn't, having more accidents than usual, even though I keep one piddle pad out for him 24/7 and he knows how to get to it.

Take your little one to the vet, it might just be a little infection.
