Well DA2PPv doesn't contain Lepto then which is good and bad. If it contained Lepto it would be easy to tell the vet not to use it next time. What DA2PPv is used for is Distemper, Adenovirus type 2, Parainfluenza & Parvovirus. Your puppy could have had a reaction to one of the components of the vaccine or to an individual vaccination. Changing brands is one way to see if the reaction was caused from preservatives in the Galaxy brand. The other way you could go (after talking with your vet of course) is to vaccinate your little one with individual vaccines instead of combination ones. Several companies make individual Parvo and Distemper vaccines. It's hard to tell what they reacted to with combination vaccines and much easier to tell with the one disease vaccination. However, that would mean more trips to the vet to get all her shots completed. I would talk with your vet and see what he recommends. Just remember to stay at your vet's office for 20-30 minutes after a vaccination just in case they have a reaction, that way you are close for any emergencies.
