It sounds like a combination of hiccups and reverse sneezing, she may have aspirated some vomit or some may have ended up in her nose (from her throat) and this is her trying to clear it.

I would have your vet check her soon.

Also, I don't think that 'on her back' is the best position for force feeding through a syringe, maybe sitting position with you holding her head up, and only small amounts at a time. Maybe flavor her water with a tiny bit of chicken broth to entice her to drink on her own...

Watch her tummy... if she continues to get more bloated, then an emergency to the vet visit would be best...
