we travel with dexter a lot and have never had any problems. I use a holistic spray called "rescue remedy" that has natural calming agents in it. (i use it myself also if i feel anxiety attacks coming on) i put a little bit on a treat for dex and feed them to him throughout the flight.

what does he do to make you think he can't clear his ears? maybe keep some water or treats handy? a lot of the time swallowing helps to clear the ears in humans, so i would think it might be the same for dogs?
