Lately I've seen on our Craigslist someone is taking old end tables - like octagon shapes with those doors on them. They remove the door, paint them, add a dog bed pillow type thing on the shelf inside and are selling them as "fancy dogs beds" for $100+.....and you know these are tables they are picking up at garage sale for almost nothing...but they are so nice and different. |
That is a great idea. I know exactly the type of end table you are talking about. My mom had an old solid wood one that just needed to be repainted and she asked me if I wanted it. I told her no, and she threw it away. Now I wish I would have taken it. That is a great idea to put a bed in it!
