Was this her first dental? Normally this will not happen as long as they do not have severe dental problems.
The smaller yorkies are the ones that really need dentals from an early age...actually most yorkies do, but the smaller they are the worse their teeth are .. they have such tiny mouths.
I am sorry this happened to your baby. Hope she will be ok.
