I give my own vaccinations and have never had a reaction with a pup so, in that sense, I would say it's not typical. I use the Galaxy 5 way. What vaccines did they get?

When I first started out breeding, my (then) vet gave the 7 way vaccine (which I would never do now) and no reactions with that either. Was this pup in any way 'weaker' before the shot?

I have always considered taking their shots well as a positive thing but would certainly be concerned if any pup had a bad reaction. At such a young age, tests wouldn't be very accurate, but you might try feeding a high protein food to challenge the function of the liver. I have weaned pups on a 36% protein food and feel their doing well on it is an indicator of good liver function.
