Did you get him when he was only 7 weeks old? If so that's too early to be taken from the mom, yorkies should stay with their mother until 12 weeks old. They learn a lot from their mother in that time period, and behavior problems often arise when they haven't had that time needed with their mothers. If you do have him that young lots of people on here have been in similar situations and will be able to give you advice.

Also, the term "teacup" is a marketing term "breeders" will use to sell smaller than normal yorkies so just be careful about going back to that breeder again. Technically there is no such thing as a teacup yorkie.

Hi and thanks for your concern. We were at the breeders when we took that picture. Our breeder has been raising "teacups" for some time now and it's a great family. That picture was actually a few wks back. We have had animals our whole life and we have done research on our breeder and the "teacups". I know it's not official but it is used to describe the little ones. We just picked him up today. We had to drive about 1.5 hrs and when we got back he got sick. Must have been the motion. He is sleeping now and getting used to the smells.
