Hi , just found out my Miley may , I say may have a liver shunts. her tests came back Bile Acids - pre meal 19.7 Adult Reference range 13.
bile acids post meal 67.6 adult ref range 25.
She is 4 yr old, the vet put her on Denamarin Same 90 mg tablets for 30 days. And MRX Hills Canine L/D, than she wants to retest her again.
She said to wait for the ultrasound to ck for the liver shunt.
I'm hoping it will b ok in 30 days, but I want to do the ultrasound now and not wait. She acts ok, she is her self. dont know what to do next or think if I should just get her a ultrasound now, or wait the 30 days, ?????
