I've spend sleepless nights stressing about all the animal cruelty and it's overwhelming. I've found the way for me to deal with it is to 1. tell others about it and wear my message too (examle: shirt, adopt a homeless animal), 2. volunteer and help animals at shelters that need TLC, 3. write letters to my congresspeople/reps when they have an opportunity to help, 4. write letters to companies example: to ask them to stop testing on animals, 5. write letters to the editor and 6. when I found out a local pet store was selling puppy mill dogs I put up my website, superpets.org
