Don't worry...let him eat all he wants...weaning will take care of his "blubber" problem soon enough.
I have had singleton so fat they could not roll over and standing was almost impossible..but once weaned, tey slimmed down to normal puppy size..

They can look like baby seals, so fat and roly-poly...my vet said not to be concerned.
