I don't know if I agree that spaying means no aggression, as I had a spayed girl that I had to rehome, she would fight with any other female, spayed or not. I think it depends on the individual dog.
Ooops! Did not mean to imply that if they were to be spayed that there would not be aggression. Obviously it all depends on the personality of each dog, but if the dogs growing up together were fine, then all of a sudden when they reached maturity started to become aggressive toward each other, I would think that not having them spayed would play a role.
