I know that our vet nutritionist who is a board certified specialist does not have issues with science diet. I was reading her website the other night and she had favorable things to say about the food and the company (which surprised me). I can think of a lot worse foods off the top of my head. I'll note that I am not a dog food user, I home cook, but when I have fed my dog Daisy a prescription diet, it was Hill's and she did fine on it.
