We check her glands at least weekly with every bath. It's her head and side. If I come in the house with a bag she doesn't recognize, she rolls around on top of it as well. She's really my parents' puppy, and I don't live with them. So, each day she sees me for the first time, she also rubs against my legs and rolls on my feet. It's not a "I'm the leader of the pack," thing either because she approaches me with her ears down and her belly practically on the ground before she does that. She just really wants everything and everyone to smell like her. She's fairly certain we all stink
