Hi,

I have a two year old yorkie that is expecting puppies. I also have a 8 month old maltese male. I would like to keep one of her puppies (which would be spayed or nuetered) but was wondering if any of you have had issues with a bitch keeping one of her puppies around? She is very laid back and sweet and took to having our maltese around great. She seems to have very good maternal instincts as she has looked over the maltese since we brought him home. The only problems she has ever had with other dogs was with her sister that we had. They were litter mates and when they turned two they started fighting so bad that I thought it would end in a death. We re-homed the other dog as she was the aggressor. Any advice would be great!
