To clarify: If your dog is AKC, you can have her dual registered with the Continental Kennel Club (CKC) and if the sire is also CKC, the pups can be registered CKC, but not AKC.
I would double check with the CKC though, if I remember correctly (and I probably don't) I think they had a rule against doing a registration during the whelping period.
