I would just give it time take them out on walks together and decide who is dominate and lock the submissive one in a cage for 5-10 min and let the other sniff in this situation i would say lock the puppy up feed pippin in a different part of the house wear the puppy is not allowed to go also try to make sure the puppy leaves pippins favorite toy(s) alone this my help or you may have to take them to training classes and when they are both trained you may be able to tell them to "leave it" and get then to leave each other alone
