I have been using Frontline plus on my 7 lb Yorkie, and it leaves half his back a greasy, sticky mess. I want to leave it on for as long as possible, but he is a mess. I use the right amount and separate his hair between the shoulder blades, apply in one spot and leave it alone. I don't brush or rub it in, but it just spreads all over his back. I think it is because the hair is just so fine. And then I wonder if so much of it is trapped on his hair, does any of it seep into his skin where it needs to be?

Anyone have any suggestions for how to make this better?
