Default Taking your Yorkie with you...

I haven't had my Yorkie very long ---but the other night it was cold. I didn't want to leave my pup in the car and took him into the Safeway store with me.

He is little - was covered with a blanket (except for his face) and was quiet and well behaved.

No one (even the employees) told me he couldn't be in the store. And, everyone who noticed him thought he was very cute --of course!
I had no problem with him in the store that evening.

Where do you take your dogs. Where are they allowed --and what sort of places might not allow them. (My brother-in-law, a restaurant owner said dogs are not allowed in restaurants - other than seeing eye dogs, etc. It's against health regulations.)

I would like to take my dog with me more - but don't want to cause any problems. And, I don't approve of "sneaking him into places where he shouldn't be." I know a lot of people do this --but it is not the right thing to do.
